Career Talks feature senior practitioners in roles and industries relevant to engineering and applied science students. Typically, these talks cover information including: a brief bio and overview of the speaker's career path; description of what they do, the skills they have utilized most, and the classes that were most helpful to them; qualifications that are important to students who are interested in this line of work; the speakers favorite interview questions for candidates to their team; advice they have for current students.

Alumni Talks provide an opportunity for current Columbia Engineering students to network and build connections with alumni in their intended field. Gain specific insight and practical advice to help you along your own career search. Access their tools and leverage their knowledge as you prepare for the next chapter. Looking to gain insight into specific employers and/or industries? Site Visits allow students to visit employers and learn first-hand about company culture, values, vision, employment opportunities, and tips for what they look for in future candidates. Taking advantage of multiple site visits also exposes students to a variety of different work environments. Apart from the valuable knowledge these visits offer to students, they are also an excellent chance for students to meet possible future employers and to expand their professional network.
